Let me start off by saying I was the type of person that liked to vacuum every single day – especially my living room! As the babies got older and we moved our way to play on the floor…I obsessed more and more about it! I would sometimes vacuum twice a day! The obsession was real. It became pretty annoying because I would have to time it out perfect when the babies were sleeping (when my hands were free) but I also had to be careful to not wake them. On top of that, I would be lying if I said the past four months have not been exhausting. It’s been an amazing ride but nonetheless EXHAUSTING.  After we put the babies to bed around 7:30, I literally want to make a dramatic face plant on my couch and not move the rest of the night. The last thing I want to do is clean. Nonetheless, once the babies are asleep for the night, this really is the most opportune time for me to clean! I want to go straight to sleep, but I hate waking up to a messy house…you see my dilemma here?!

I FINALLY FOUND THE ANSWER! bObi by bObsweep!

bObi has essentially eliminated all the time I spent vacuuming, is VERY quiet, and allows me to pickup while it does its thing. All of this = MORE TIME FOR SLEEP! I LOVE MY bObi!

Here’s my game plan once the babies are down for the count: I start with my living room, which is always the biggest disaster. I throw any random dirty diapers away that were on the floor, bibs, toys, empty bottles, and blankies. You name it, it’s most likely found its way to the floor! I have one bObi set up in my living so with just a touch, bObi starts vacuuming the entire living room. As bObi vacuums the living room, I head to our dining room. I start of by clearing off the table, clearing any random bags off the floor (Matthews workout bag, mine, lunchbox…etc). Oh, did I mention my dog loves to bring in big sticks from the woods and chew them up in our dining room? That’s right! Not going to lie…I usually let her do this because I’m so busy with the babies that I just want her distracted and playing with something! So I throw any random sticks back outside (which she will probably find and bring back in tomorrow) . I have another bObi stationed in the dining area so with just one touch, bam! My wood floors are getting cleaned (especially the stick mess Stella has made) while I make my way to the kitchen.

The kitchen goes by pretty fast. Mostly loading the dishwasher and cleaning off the counter area. Once everything is put into place, I head back to the living room and then I really do face plant on the couch, watch a show and admire my bObi as he continues to vacuum the living room. BEST FEELING EVER. Yes, bObi is a “he”! Matthew tried telling me “he” was a “she” but I won the argument. We did decide bObi in the dining room is a “she”. Marriage, alllll about that compromise! Am I right!?

Any mommy’s reading this, I highly recommend investing in a bObi! It saves me so much time and lets face it we really do not have time to waste! I would also like to throw in there that this vacuum cleaner makes a light humming sound as it cleans, which my babies do not mind! They will either fall asleep to the sound of bObi cleaning or are already asleep and will stay asleep as the magical cleaning takes place!
