Hi Friends! Happy Friday! I’ve been wanting to dedicate a section and day of my blog, for quite some time, featuring products I love! These products will be a broad range from either lifestyle, parenthood, babies, fitness or home decor. Honestly, just whatever I’m digging and feel it’s worthy to share with all of you awesome people. Enjoy!

I’ll never forget meeting this older gentleman in Starbucks who walked right up to Matthew, Oliver, Olivia and myself. Our three-month-old twins caught his attention and he earnestly shared with us that he and his late wife also had boy/girl twins. What started out as small talk quickly turned into him giving us tips on what to do and not do when raising twins. Most of them were funny little tidbits but one stood out to me and I’ve been implementing it ever since.

He said, “Do not get in the habit of calling them the twins, they have their own names, Oliver and Olivia. They shared the same womb but they are two completely different people”.

Every parenting style and child is different but this was actually something that resonated with me. I think that it is why I love getting them their own personalized things, such as their PBK Anywhere Chairs! Matthew and I mostly call them by their names but we know it’s inevitable that down the line others will naturally associate them as “the twins” – which makes sense! I have made it a fun little mission to have some of their possessions personalized so when they do understand they will know they are their own little person! Of course, being a twin is such a cool inseparable bond, but it’s also important to establish and understand individuality.

Now let’s talk about these adorable personalized chairs, shall we?

When ordering from Pottery Barn, I went with the Oversized Anywhere Chair. I decided to go with the biggest size because they will be able to utilize them longer as toddlers and grow into them. The cushioning for the chairs arrived in a big box and the covers came separately. It was extremely easy to figure out how to correctly place the cushions in the covers – not to mention they come with straightforward instructions, thank goodness! The quality of the chairs is simply amazing! I can tell the covers are a very durable fabric which is crucial when being used by little ones! One aspect of these chairs that surprised me is how the stuffing is not super fluffy (a big plus). When I sat down in one of their chairs, I expected to sink clear to the ground but it held my weight easily. Now I know these are not meant for 25-year-olds but it was a major plus I could sit in these as well – ha! It also made me realize how impeccable the quality truly was. These chairs are going to last us years.

For being twins Oliver and Olivia are extremely different. Not even just in looks but personalities. My husband and I can’t get enough of it! When we placed the PBK chairs in our living room they reacted polar opposite. Olivia was taking turns climbing to sit on both of them and Oliver sat back and observed for a solid five minutes. They even sit in them differently…

Oliver sat intently and seriously in his chair as if he was so proud that it was his…and only his!

Here is the link to Oliver’s Chair!

Olivia, on the other hand, was all over the place! She loved holding herself up using the armrests, posing constantly, and looking all around!

Linked is the exact one that I ordered for Olivia (:

Something I would like to briefly share on here is that these photos took almost an entire day to get! I’m not kidding! I attempted to take photos in the early morning, then after their first nap and again after their second. It was by far the longest I have ever spent trying to get my goofballs to cooperate! It’s funny because sometimes it just goes perfectly and you are done in a matter of ten minutes – other times you are like holyyy smokes where did the day go!? The reason it took so long is that they were just incredibly infatuated with their personalized chairs – they did not want to pay any mind to me! Want to know what going on behind me as I am on the floor snapping as quickly as possible? Matthew is waving Stella around and saying “Peek a boooo!” and occasionally “woof look it’s me, Stella!”. If you have followed our journey on here for a while now, you know how much Oliver and Olivia LOVE our dog. We call her their triplet if that explains anything! It’s funny because we can get super caught up in seeing these highlight reel photos and wonder to ourselves “Dang, how do they get their children to take such nice photos?”. It’s called bribery my friends! Thank goodness for our awesome pup, Stella!

If you are interested in purchasing these personalized chairs, head to Pottery Barn Kids website and check it out – They have so many amazing and high-quality products. I’m currently obsessed with their Modern Baby line!

As for the rest of my Friday, I plan on getting some last minute things done for the twins birthday which is a week away. Ahhhh! I can’t believe they are almost one and I’m still in denial. Then I’ll be heading to my grandparents to see them and cousins as well. Cheers to a relaxing, family-filled Friday. I hope you all have a great weekend!
